Pasco & Hillsborough Counties · Est. 1880s
Understated.
Undeniable.
Lake estates with private docks. Working acreage with room for horses. Golf-course communities that don’t advertise themselves. Odessa has never needed to be flashy to be valuable — and neither does the roof over it.

Field Notes - Odessa, FL
Two Towns, One Homesick Railway Man
The Mobley family settled this stretch of ranchland in the 1850s, migrating from Savannah. Decades later, a Russian immigrant named Peter Demens built the Orange Belt Railway through it and named two of the towns along the line after places he missed back home. One became St. Petersburg. The other — named for the city on Russia’s Black Sea coast — became Odessa. A sawmill carried the local economy until it burned in 1922; quiet ranches and horse properties carried it for most of the century after. Tampa Bay Executive Airport operated here until 2004 — its closing is what opened the door to the lake estates and master-planned communities that define Odessa today.

Roofing Over Docks and Boathouses
Ski-lake properties around Keystone come with private docks, boathouses, and waterfront structures that need to read as one property, not a main house with mismatched outbuildings trailing behind it.
Starkey Ranch · Asturia
New Construction, Held To A Higher Bar
Master-planned HOAs review roofing materials and rooflines closely. We work from the builder's spec sheet and submit for architectural approval before a single shingle goes up, so the project never stalls in committee.

Golf-Course Sightlines Matter
Gated communities built around championship courses are particular about what's visible from the fairway. We coordinate with HOA design review and keep crews and equipment out of sightlines for the length of the project.

No HOA, No Shortcuts
Rural Odessa properties often carry no HOA oversight at all, which means the homeowner is the only quality check there is. We hold every barn, garage, and outbuilding roof to the same standard as the main house — HOA or not.

“I called for a free inspection not expecting much. They showed up with thermal imaging equipment and found a slow leak we had no idea about. Saved us thousands in potential structural damage.”
Sandra Kowalski

“Our HOA required a very specific shingle color match. Farrell nailed it perfectly and handled the architectural review board documentation without any prompting. Zero headaches — just a beautiful new roof.”
James Whitfield

“We replaced a 25-year-old clay tile roof. They matched the existing style exactly, and the installation quality is extraordinary. The lead installer walked me through every stage of the process.”
