Built Fast.
Roofed Right.
Land O’ Lakes has added more people in the last ten years than most Florida towns see in a generation — new subdivisions ringing a hundred-plus lakes, almost all of it built fast to keep up with demand. We’re the crew that slows down long enough to get the roof right.

Field Notes - Land O’ Lakes, FL
A Name That Undersold It
A stagecoach line ran through here in the 1840s and a rail station went up by the early 1900s, but none of it had much to do with lakes until 1949 — when locals suggested the name and made it official in September 1950. The growth came in waves after that: about 4,500 residents by 1980, nearly 8,000 by 1990, almost 21,000 by 2000, and just under 36,000 by the 2020 census. Underneath all of it, the town has kept one quiet tradition: a ceremonial “honorary mayor,” a position residents started in 1968 that carries no real power and isn’t going anywhere.

The First Reroof Window
Most of Land O’ Lakes was built in one long boom, nearly half the housing stock here went up between 2010 and 2017. Builder-grade shingles rarely outlast their warranty in Florida heat, and that whole wave of roofs is now old enough to earn a real inspection, not a guess.

Algae at the Waterline
With a lake behind nearly every other subdivision, north-facing slopes here hold humidity and algae streaking longer than inland Pasco roofs do. We factor that into material choice, not just color.
US 41 · Suncoast Pkwy
Licensed & Local, Not a Storm-Chaser
Growth this fast pulls in a lot of out-of-state crews chasing the same subdivisions. We’ve been licensed in Pasco County for 20+ years, our own employees, not a subcontracted crew passing through.
Pasco County Permitting
Permits, Start To Finish
One of the fastest-growing permit offices in the state means paperwork can bottleneck a project fast. We pull every permit before work begins and manage inspections so a newer HOA doesn’t stall your roof.
Life Between The Lakes
Around Land O’ Lakes
New subdivision or one of the older streets near US-41, we’ve worked this whole stretch of Pasco County long enough to know it past the roofline.
Skate park, pool, dog park, ballfields
Heritage Park & The Rec Center
The hub for the town's young-family boom — fields, courts, and a public pool that fills up fast on summer weekends.
Paddling, hiking, equestrian trails
Cypress Creek Preserve
Boardwalks and unpaved trails through the wetlands that still separate half the subdivisions from one another.
One of Florida's first roadside attractions
Dupree Gardens
A gate and a historical marker are about all that remain of the gardens that drew road-trippers through here decades before the subdivisions arrived.

Land O’ Lakes Trusts Farrell
“I was hesitant after a bad experience with another roofer. Farrell was completely transparent — pricing, timeline, materials. The workmanship is excellent, and they cleaned up better than any contractor I've hired.”
